First drawing, September 2013 Bui and Melata
I decide to redraw my first drawing as Children Illustrator in Just For Kids Magazine.
It such a long way and I learn many new things since then. And I decide to celebrate it with redrawing my first piece in Just For Kids.
I made it longer than the first time, the reason is I have many things to do, including my work in Just For Kids. So, I work on it when I got free time.
From September 2016 until January 2017 is the time period I work on it, the truth is I only finish it about 5-6 days and only on nighttime.
Notes:
The story is about a twin brother. The younger one is become a stone because he annoyed the Stone Snake. He got bite by the snake. One day, the older one come to the Stone Snake and asking for the forgiveness. And then, the younger one apologize to the Stone Snake.

The composition of this piece is pretty good as well as the expressions on the characters. I also like the texture on the rocks, though it's a bit difficult to tell which rocks are closer or further away from the characters, especially with the gray and brown rocks. The bottom of the snake also look like it wanders too far from the rest of the body.
